In a context of rapid change, specialization is a huge disadvantage. Evolution changes pace depending on change in context. Well our environment is changing very fast right now. Therefore we have to evolve. We don’t want to be specialist in the way that we were before. We have to be able to move, to be agile. To be effective as designers we have to be able to ask design questions across a much broader landscape than we may have had to.
